Prerequisits for Qpack server

The following paragraph describes QPack Prerequisites for installation

QPack uses a client-server architecture.

The server runs on Windows2003 server, and uses the Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 Database as the repository.

A web interface is used for the communication with the client, based on Microsoft Internet Information Services

• Operating System: Windows server 2003/WindowsXP SP2
• P4 or higher, 2G RAM
• IIS installed + Windows FTP server installed
• MSDE/SQLSERVER200 or SQLEXPRESS/SQLSERVER2005. If its not installed, QPack will install it for you
• SMTP email server information such as: IP and port for email notification (will be requested during setup).
• Optional - Email account for Qpack server named: QPack (Or any other name to identify emails sent by Qpack server)
• List of users using the system and their email information.
• Local administration rights on the installed server.
