Israeli company Orcanos launches the new version of its ALM solution, QPack 5.0, which streamlines development processes in the organization
The official launch will take place at the first conference of its kind to deal with trends in the field of ALM 2.0 (Application Life Management) that Orcanos is holding in mid-June
Israeli software company Orcanos, a leading supplier of solutions in the field of ALM (Application Life Management), has announced a new version of its QPack 5.0 system. This system provides a uniform and integrative platform, creating transparency and integration between all the people involved in developing the software.
The system will be launched at a first of its kind conference surveying trends in the field of ALM 2.0, held by Orcanos on June 16, 2008, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Tel Aviv.
The QPack solution provides an integrative organizational platform that allows managers to follow up the development process, check what stage it is at and plan tests accordingly, manage malfunctions, and in general, provide a complete response to the process.
According to Zohar Peretz, CEO of Orcanos, "we are delighted to launch a more advanced version of the QPack, which provides a direct answer to one of the main problems faced by every development company: how to streamline and improve the development process between the different entities. The new system supports automation of the business processes and allows a flow of information between the different people involved, improving communication, shortening development times, and helping the decision-making process. There is no doubt that managing a single system on a single database will make it easier to follow up what is happening and obtain an accurate profile of the project data."
