New layout design of dashboard, in Windows XP style.

New panel on Dashboard menu : ‘QPack Today’

Personalized view that contains 4 place holders, and allows user to display various reports in the same screen, such as predefined filters, charts, etc.

 

 

 

Auto hide Dashboard Menu

  1. Open ‘User Settings’ from ‘Tools’ on main tool bar
  2. Under ‘Personal’ select ‘Hide Dashboard Menu’
  3. Change value to ‘Yes’ in order to hide the menu
  4. Press ‘OK’ to apply

 

 

 

 

 

 

Effort Estimation management.

When new item is created, the effort estimation field border is marked in red.

 

 

Manage test parameters from tool bar

  1. open ‘Tools’ on main tool bar
  2. select ‘Test Parameters’
  3. Add / Edit / Delete test parameters to project

Manage test run parameters

Allows managing test parameters in execution set level.

The user can add, edit or remove parameters from execution.

 

 

Coverage Matrix in document generator, to meet FDA regulations.

  1. Open ‘Document Generator’ from tool bar
  2. Go to ‘Traceability/Coverage’ tab and check the coverage box
  3. Define the wanted coverage to display on document

 

 

Relations Traceability matrix in the Document Generator to meet FDA regulations.

  1. Open ‘Document Generator’ from tool bar
  2. Go to ‘Traceability/Coverage’ tab and check the relation box
  3. Add relation types to document

 

 

Convert requirement item type to requirement heading

QPack allows converting items of type Requirements to Requirements Heading.

Such operation allows constructing a full template document structure in the product tree view.

 

Printing document  in the tree view hierarchic order

  1. Open Document Generator from ‘Tools’ on tool bar
  2. Check the ‘Print Descendents’ box
  3. Check the ‘Hierarchic’ button

 

 

Generate SRD document

Generating STD document includes requirements with their detailed test cases.

 

Discussion forum

Functions as an internal forum for each item. This option appears on Dashboard, Search and Defect grids.

When user press the ‘discussion’ button, the discussion center is open to send comments

 

All messages of discussion are tracked in history and can be search by the Advanced filter.

 

 

 

Hebrew support 

Supported for the followings:

  1. Item/defect name and description
  2. Discussion forum
  3. Attachments description and file name

Ability to edit relation details such as comment, link type, score

  1. From relations tab, press the ‘Edit Relation’ button
  2. Edit relation window is open

1.       Go to  item description tool bar

2.       Click on right button and select ‘Word Editor’

      

3.       Right click with mouse on tool bar 

4.       Select ‘Standard’ option to get  standard word menu

FDA Standard for RISK and Hazard

support special cases when Severity after mitigation copied from the severity before mitigation

  1. Open ‘Risk Management’ window
  2. Open ‘RPN Color Settings’ dialog window
  3. Check the ‘Same Severity Value’

     

 

4.   Severity values are now synchronize to severity value before mitigation

 

 

Expand the item details capability

Add an option to open item (req. for example) from relationship window. Purpose: easy access to review and edit.

 

Note: Items that are not permitted for edit by the user or belong to other project will be open in read only mode.

Requirement heading

New item type – requirement heading, with hierarchy support

this item function as heading in ‘word’ document and allows the user to construct a document structure on the product requirement tree

 

Filter capabilities

Filter by Custom Fields (on General tab )

Strong Search capabilities in Add Relation

User can use filter when adding new relation, in order to locate items for link

New tab on filter expends search capabilities to items with relations, gives the possibility to define the exact type of relation/lack of relation for results. 

 

 

 

 

Execution Set Report with test results

Allows printing tests with their steps results

New button was added to Test Execution that generate reports for test runs:

Giving the option to generate general report for execution set or last test run status

 

 

 

Defects reported by tests filter

New Filter option ‘ Reported In Tests’ allows searching for Defects that were discovered during test runs.
