OVERVIEW
Allow Download Approved Revision Permission allows the user to Download the Revisions in DMS items which are in Approved State. It displays Download icon in the Actions column in Revision section which allows to Download and View the PDF for DOCX, XLSX, PDF and PPTX file types and Download icon for other file formats. This option is specific to DMS Work Items.
HOW TO ENABLE/DISABLE ALLOW DOWNLOAD APPROVED REVISION PERMISSION:
To enable or disable Allow Download Approved Revision permission, user need to follow simple steps
- Select the Groups from Users & Groups in Admin (Make sure user select the group related to a required project and a user)
- Click on the View icon against the Group you want to update the permission
- Select the Work Item Permissions tab
- Select DMS Item from the selection list.
- Select the checkbox for ‘Allow Download Approved Revision‘ option.
- To remove the permission, uncheck the checkbox for ‘Allow Download Approved Revision‘ option.
Note: User needs to refresh from setting or re-login to apply the changes.
