Adding tooltips to work item fields

OVERVIEW

Users can add HTML based tooltips to custom fields of each work item

HOW TO ADD TOOLTIP

  • Select Admin> System Customization> Field Layout
  • Select the work item from the work items selection list
  • For the Corresponding Field in the Section, click on the Tooltip icon
  • Type the tooltip text in the Manage Tooltip popup
  • Press the Save button.

Note: Tooltip are available for both System Fields and Custom Fields

Tooltips are seen when we add the value during Add/Update Work Item and also when the user is in View Mode

User may enable/ disable the Show tooltip checkbox from Settings option under User Profile Icon at the Top Right Side of the Screen (Profile Image of the Logged In user)
