Sometimes when we see a traceability tab, In the screenshot below at the end of the name, numbers are in parentheses. we think about it that What are these numbers and what is the meaning of it?
So in this post, we are going to describe this number and its meaning.
The number refers to the revision on the work item history that the traceability was established on. This is to help understand if the item is outdated relative to the initial point of tracing.
For Example: if TC-22330 is traced to HD-11521 and
If the HD-11521 was on rev. 6 (taken from the history of the item)
then, that number will show up on the trace info.
